a l m u s !
My near transparent talons rolled with ease over the cold rock face, jaws expanding into a yawn. "What will it be today, eh?" I chuckled lightly to myself, harks erect and alert. "Kjag? You there- We need to talk..." My obsidian nares inhaled the mixed scents, hoping for the beta's approach. Nothing. A deep, rough sigh hissed slowly out of my larynx, shoulders rolling the kinks out steadily. Perhaps a little hunting? With a final shake of my hazel wings, I set off without haste towards the outskirts of Zeil Peninsula.
Now, one wouldn't assume a peninsula would be an ideal place for hunting, but- I was creative... Snap. My glistening dentals were now dripping with the scarlet droplets of blood, the limp bodice of a pitiful rabbit laying before me. Not the most appetizing meal, but it would do. "Disgusting!" I spat hotly, burdock matted in the rodents brown pelt now clinging to my maw. My harks pinned back quickly, kissers curling back into a contempt snarl. It took me quite some time to dig out the dreaded things; didn't bother to finish the little scrap, better let the ravens have their pay. My plume wavered slowly in the slight breeze, the strong scent of salt water wafting across the terria, ensnaring my attention.
"Oh, how wonderful, the sea..." My lyrics were pratically over flowing with sarcasm. Not like it was anything new to me, see the geographical feauture quite alot. The small pool beside me was rippling, the small slippery forms of grayling to be seen in it's murky depths. Would it really be possible? My once placid facade quickly changed into a more determined expression, fore paw raised and ready to lash out and get that- Well, get me if you must... My alabaster bodice went up into a massive splash of water, opts wide in surprise. It took a minute or two to regain my nerve strings, but it was done...
